Introduction benefits and subject of Surah Al-Imran in Urdu English

سورۂ اٰلِ عمران کا تعارف   

مقامِ نزول:   

سورۂ آلِ عمران مدینہ طیبہ میں نازل ہوئی ہے۔    (   خازن، ال عمران،    ۱ / ۲۲۸)   

رکوع اور آیات  کی تعداد:   

اس میں 20رکوع    اور    200 آیتیں ہیں۔    

’’اٰلِ عمران‘‘ نام رکھے جانے کی وجہ:   

آل کا ایک معنی ’’اولاد‘‘ ہے اور اس سورت کے چوتھے اور پانچویں رکوع میں آیت نمبر33تا 54میں حضرت مریم      رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہا    کے والد عمران کی آل کی سیرت اور ان کے فضائل کا ذکر ہے ،اس مناسبت سے اس سورت کا نام’’سورۂ آلِ عمران‘‘ رکھا گیا ہے۔   

سورۂ اٰلِ عمران کے فضائل:   

اس سورت کے مختلف فضائل بیان کئے گئے ہیں ، ان میں سے 3فضائل درجِ ذیل ہیں۔   

(1) …   حضرت نواس بن سمعان   رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ    سے روایت ہے،نبی اکرم    صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ   نے ارشاد فرمایا ’’ قیامت کے دن قرآنِ مجید اور اس پر عمل کرنے والوں کو لایا جائے گا، ان کے آگے سورۂ بقرہ اور سورۂ آلِ عمران ہوں گی۔ حضرت نواس    رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ    فرماتے ہیں کہ رسولِ کریم    صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ   نے ان سورتوں کے لئے تین مثالیں بیان فرمائیں جنہیں میں آج تک نہیں بھولا، آپ    صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ   نے ارشاد فرمایا ’’یہ دونوں سورتیں ایسی ہیں جیسے دو بادل ہوں یا دو ایسے سائبان ہوں جن کے درمیان روشنی ہو یا صف باندھے ہوئے دو پرندوں کی قطاریں ہوں ، یہ دونوں سورتیں اپنے پڑھنے والوں کی شفاعت کریں گی۔

(2) …   حضرت عثمان بن عفان    رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ    فرماتے ہیں ’’جو شخص ر ات میں سورۂ آلِ عمر ان کی آخری آیتیں پڑھے گا تو اس کے لیے پوری رات عبادت کرنے کا ثواب لکھا جائے گا

(3) …    حضرت مکحول    رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ   فرماتے ہیں ’’جو شخص جمعہ کے دن سورۂ آلِ عمران کی تلاوت کرتا ہے تو رات تک فرشتے اس کے لئے دعائیں کرتے رہتے ہیں۔

 Introduction to Surah Al-Imran


 Place of descent:

 Surah Al-Imran has been revealed in Madinah.  (Khazan, Al-Imran, 1/2)

 Number of bows and verses:

 It has 20 verses and 200 verses.

 Reason for naming "Imran":

 One of the meanings of Aal is “Descendants” and in the fourth and fifth Ruku of this Surah, in verses 33 to 54, the biography of Imran's father Imran and his virtues are mentioned. On this occasion, the name of this Surah  "Surah Al-Imran" has been kept.

 Virtues of Surah Al-Imran:

 Various virtues of this Surah have been mentioned, 3 of them are as follows.

 (1) 
 It is narrated from Hazrat Nawas bin Simaan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an will be recited to those who follow it.  And Surah Al-Imran will be.  Hazrat Nawas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave three examples for these Surahs which he has not been able to recite till date.  As there are two clouds or two canopies between which there is light or two rows of birds lined up, these two suras will intercede for their readers.  (Muslim, Kitab Salat al-Musafirin waqsaraha, Bab Fazal Qara 'al-Quran wa Surat al-Baqara, p. 5, Hadith: 1 (2))

Hazrat Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, says, “Whoever recites the last verses of Surah Al-Umar in the night, the reward of worshiping all night will be written for him.  (Darmi, Book of Virtues of the Qur'an, Chapter on the Blessings of Imran, 2/3, Hadith: 1)

Hazrat Makhul, may Allah be pleased with him, says, “Whoever recites Surah Al-Imran on Friday, the angels keep on praying for him till night.  (Darmi, Book of Virtues of the Qur'an, Chapter on the Blessings of Imran, 2/3, Hadith: 1)

سورۂ اٰلِ عمران کے مضامین:          

اس سورت کا مرکزی مضمون یہ ہے کہ اس میں حضرت مریم           رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہا      کی ولادت، ان کی پرورش، جس جگہ حضرت مریم  رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہا      کو      اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے رزق ملتا وہاں کھڑے ہو کر حضرت زکریا      عَلَیْہِ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَام  کا اولاد کے لئے دعا کرنا، حضرت مریم      رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہا  کو حضرت عیسیٰ      عَلَیْہِ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَام  کی ولادت کی بشارت ملنا، اور حضرت عیسیٰ            عَلَیْہِ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَام      کے معجزات و واقعات کا بیان ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ اس سور ت میں یہ مضامین بیان کئے گئے ہیں :

       اللہ      تعالیٰ کی وحدانیت، نبی کریم           صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ     کی نبوت اور قرآن کی صداقت پر دلائل دئیے گئے ہیں۔          

(2) … 

    اللہ      تعالیٰ کی بارگاہ میں مقبول دین صرف اسلام ہے۔          

(3) …  

   حضرت عیسیٰ      عَلَیْہِ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَام     کی شان کے بارے جھگڑنے والے، نبی کریم           صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ     کی نبوت کو جھٹلانے والے اور قرآن مجید کا انکار کرنے والے نجران کے عیسائیوں سے حضور پر نور           صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہ وَسَلَّمَ          کی ہونے والی گفتگو بیان کی گئی ہے۔

  میثاق کے دن انبیاء کرام      عَلَیْہِمُ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَام      سے سیدُ المرسلین                               صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلم         کے بارے عہد لینے کا واقعہ بیان کیا گیا ہے۔

    مکہ مکرمہ اور خانۂ کعبہ کی فضیلت اور اس ا مت کے باقی تمام امتوں سے افضل ہونے کا بیان ہے۔

  یہودیوں پر ذلت و خواری مُسَلَّط کئے جانے کا ذکر ہے۔          

(7) …    

 جہاد کی فرضیت اورسود کی حرمت سے متعلق شرعی احکام اور زکوٰۃ نہ دینے والوں کی سزا کے بارے میں بیان کیا گیا ہے۔          

(8) …   

  غزوۂ بدر اور غزوۂ اُحد کا تذکرہ اوراس سے حاصل ہونے والی عبرت و نصیحت کا بیان ہے۔

   امت کی خیر خواہی میں مال خرچ کرنے،لوگوں پر احسان کرنے اور بخل نہ کرنے کے فضائل بیان کئے گئے ہیں۔

 شہیدوں کے زندہ ہونے،انہیں رزق ملنے اور ان کا      اللہ      تعالیٰ کا فضل حاصل ہونے پر خوش ہو نے کا بیان ہے۔

   اوراس سورت کے آخر میں زمین و آسمان اور ان میں موجود عجائبات اور اَسرار میں غورو فکر کرنے کی دعوت دی گئی ہے ،نیزجہاد پر صبر کرنے اور اسلامی سرحدوں کی نگہبانی کرنے کا حکم دیاگیا ہے۔

                       Subjects of Surah Al-Imran

 The main theme of this surah is that the birth of Hazrat Maryam (may Allah be pleased with her), her upbringing, the place where Hazrat Maryam (may Allah be pleased with her) gets sustenance from Allah, standing there,  Praying for, Hazrat Maryam (may Allah be pleased with her) to receive the glad tidings of the birth of Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him), and the events of Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) are miracles of narration and events.  In addition, the following articles are mentioned in this Surah:

 (1)

 Evidence has been given on the Oneness of God, the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the authenticity of the Qur'aan.

 (2)

 The only religion acceptable to Allah is Islam.

 (3)

 Jesus, the one who denies the prophethood of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and those who dispute the glory of Allaah  Has been

 (4)

 On the day of the Covenant, the incident of the Prophets (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon them) taking a vow about the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has been narrated.

 (5)

 It describes the virtue of Makkah and the Ka'bah and the superiority of this ummah over all other ummahs.

 (6)

 There is mention of humiliation being inflicted on the Jews.

 (7)

 The Shari'ah rules regarding the obligation of jihad and the prohibition of usury and the punishment of those who do not pay Zakat have been explained.

 (8)

 The Battle of Badr and the Battle of Uhud are mentioned and the lessons to be learned from them.

 (9)

 The virtues of spending money for the good of the Ummah, being kind to people and not being stingy have been mentioned.

(10)

 There is a statement that the martyrs are happy when they are alive, they get sustenance and they get the grace of Allah Almighty.

(11)

 At the end of this surah, one is invited to reflect on the heavens and the earth and the wonders and mysteries in them, and to be patient in jihad and to guard the Islamic frontiers.
